At Cypress Cove, our number one priority continues to be focused on the safety and well-being of our residents and staff members. Over the past several weeks, we have followed, and continue to follow, all precautionary measures as recommended by the CDC and state and federal regulatory agencies. In addition, we have implemented a number of voluntary policies and guidelines throughout our campus to help protect our community and prevent the spread of COVID-19. On April 1, we learned that one of our residents, who is in the care of Lee Health, tested positive for the Coronavirus. Out of an abundance of caution, staff members who were providing care and had contact with this resident are now self-isolating at home with daily monitoring for 14 days from their last direct contact. We have notified all of our residents and staff members and are taking all necessary precautions with the guidance of state officials and the Department of Health. We are committed to full transparency and sharing updates with you during this unprecedented and ever-changing situation, while also ensuring the privacy of individuals within our community. If you have any questions or concerns please call 239-415-5100.
