Greg Madsen

As Resident Services Manager for Independent Living at Cypress Cove, Greg Madsen serves as the primary point of contact for residents in The Harbour, The Oaks, and The Villas neighborhoods. Whether supporting day-to-day needs or helping residents navigate transitions within the continuum of care, Greg is dedicated to ensuring an exceptional living experience. 

Greg’s passion for serving older adults began after the loss of his grandmother, inspiring him to dedicate his career to what he calls “the greatest generation.” His background spans skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and independent living—where he has found his true calling. 

He holds an undergraduate degree from Florida Southern College and a master’s in leadership from the University of South Florida. He also completed his CORE certification, qualifying him as an Assisted Living Administrator in the State of Florida. 

Known for his empathetic approach and active listening, Greg brings a people-first mindset to his role, guided by the philosophy: “How would I want my mother and father to be treated?” 

Outside of work, Greg enjoys exploring Florida’s natural beauty, from weekend road trips to kayaking through mangroves. At home, he can often be found watching Jeopardy! with his beloved Maine Coon cat, Luna.
