[Oct. 1, 2022 10am ET] Good morning! We have power and water, but a lot of work to do. A boil water advisory is posted throughout the building, along with this morning’s memo for residents. Moving forward, with electricity restored, resident communications will move to digital options (K4) and memos will be placed in the mailboxes.

Some services are still down or unreliable, including Comcast/Xfinity and cellular service.

We received several deliveries of food, water and other supplies yesterday but expect regularly scheduled deliveries may be delayed as we slowly resume back to normal operations in the region. Fuel is a problem for everyone with very few gas stations operating.

For the immediate future, coffee will be available daily at 8am at the triple elevator lobbies on every floor. Lunch will be provided for all residents at 11:30am and dinner at 3:30. Meals will be delivered to each floor at the triple elevators. Villa residents will pick up their meals at the concierge desk. The dinner pick up time is earlier than normal so our culinary staff are able to go home before dark as the majority of traffic lights are still out throughout the region.

We hope to open the concierge desk again within a day or two if staffing allows. Activities will have a slow start as well. Please understand we have not been able to reach some team members, many lost their cars in the storm, and others are unable to find fuel.

Our priorities today are removing carpet in the common areas and returning healthcare residents back to campus as soon as it is safe to do so. We have several partners on campus to assist with clean up, including Chris-Tel Construction, Shoreline, and CLA Landscaping. Others are on the way!

Nursing is available at The Harbour 24/7. The medical clinic will open as soon as possible in a temporary location.

The 3rd floor information center is open for water bottles, questions, work orders, etc.

Thank you for your continued patience as we prioritize our resources.
