MARY FRANKLIN

Mary Franklin
Executive Director, Cypress Cove

As Executive Director, Mary manages the day-to-day operations of Cypress Cove which include financial and strategic planning, employee and resident relations, facilities, regulatory compliance, healthcare and health clinic oversight.

Mary first came to Cypress Cove as Director of Resident Services in 2015 before becoming Assistant Executive Director and then Executive Director in October 2020. Mary has distinguished herself as an effective leader, respected by both residents and staff.

Mary received a bachelor’s degree in Recreational Management from Ohio University and has recently earned an Administrator of Assisted Living Certification. She’s a recent graduate of The Chamber of Southwest Florida Leadership Lee program and is a board member of The Chamber of Southwest Florida.

Director of Facilities

Our Director of Facilities Scott Berry is a seasoned professional with broad-ranging experience in facility management, including building construction, property maintenance, risk assessment, and quality assurance.

Scott hails from Waterville, Maine, where he worked as Director of Facilities at Kennebec Behavioral Health since 1996. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management from University of Maine at Augusta and holds IFMA Facilities Management certification.

Tily Sayeh
Cypress Cove Skilled Nursing Administrator

As the Skilled Nursing Administrator, Tily oversees compliance with all regulatory agencies and is responsible for the overall management of The Lodge at Cypress Cove. She completed the rigorous administrator-in-training program through the Florida Board of Nursing Home Administrators in 2021 and is a Florida Gulf Coast University Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science. She is the first to complete such a program at Cypress Cove. Tily started at Cypress Cove in 2012 in dining services and has held various roles within the company prior to becoming a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.

Cypress Cove Assisted Living Administrator

Alexa Tryon is a dedicated professional in the field of senior care. She has a wealth of experience, having completed Cypress Cove’s administrator-in-training program and served as Interim Assisted Living Manager before being promoted to her current role. Alexa holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of South Florida and is also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Her commitment to providing exceptional care and her extensive background make her a valuable asset to the Cypress Cove community.

Cypress Cove Human Resources Manger

Courtney joined the Cypress family in May 2019 as Benefits Coordinator and was promoted to HR Manager in 2022.

Courtney holds certification through the Society of Human Resource Management, along with an MBA in Human Resources Management from The University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Stockton University.

Cypress Cove Manager of Occupancy and Community Development

As Manager of Occupancy and Community Development, Maureen focuses on prospect engagement and sales for Cypress Cove and its expansion, The Oaks at Cypress Cove. Maureen leads a team of dynamic retirement counselors who take a concierge-center approach to sales and relationship management.

She has worked in the Southwest Florida senior living and home care industry since 1988. Prior to joining Cypress Cove, Maureen worked at Greystone and Comfort Keepers where she was responsible for sales, business development, and office management.

Maureen has served as a board member of Meals on Wheels, CAMEO, the Friendship Center Senior Hunger Task Force, and as a co-founder of a volunteer agency serving underprivileged seniors.

Cypress Cove Director of Life Enrichment and Wellness

Wendy has exhibited outstanding leadership within Resident Life. She has furthered her expertise by obtaining a master’s degree, completing the Southwest Florida Chamber Leadership program, and participating in the LeadingAge Southeast Fellowship program. As Director of Life Enrichment and Wellness, Wendy oversees strategic initiatives, activities, recreational and fitness programming, events and seminars, and the community-wide wellness program while expanding her responsibilities to include healthcare activities.

Community Advancement Officer

With a background in program development, management and customer service, Melody, our Community Advancement Officer, is responsible for strategically planning and executing a comprehensive planned giving and fundraising program where individuals discover the joys of giving back to their unique passions and community.

Prior to joining the Cypress team, Melody served as Senior Director of Development for Lee Health and oversaw major, principal and legacy giving specific to Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. She was instrumental in bringing donor-funded support to launch the new pediatric neurosurgery program at Golisano.

Melody holds a bachelor’s degree in Tourism & Recreation from Niagara University in New York with a concentration in marketing and communication. She currently serves as Vice President of Programming for the Planned Giving Council of Lee County, Inc. and is participating in the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Leadership program.

LAURENT BOSC

LAURENT BOSC
Director of Culinary Services

Laurent Bosc leads Culinary Services. He has exceptional culinary management experience, most recently from the SCBR Group, where he served as Food and Beverage Director for seven years for Tween Waters Resorts.

His prior experience includes retail management in Italy and restaurant management at Walt Disney World.

Bosc speaks fluent French, Italian and English and has good knowledge of Spanish. A native of France, Laurent studied business administration and holds certification in management and supervision from Mid-Florida Institute. He also completed an International Executive Coaching program through Vistage.

DIANA RIPPL

DIANA RIPPL
Director of Inspiring Rehabilitation and Wellness Integration

MSPT, NCPT, OCS is an experienced health care manager, physical therapist, and wellness director. She has served Southwest Florida in several roles at Lee Health as well as a busy outpatient orthopedic center. Prior to moving to Florida, she gained valuable clinical experience as a physical therapist in Cincinnati, Ohio. Diana holds graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Miami.

As Director of Inspiring Rehabilitation and Wellness Integration, she oversees all rehabilitation and wellness services throughout all levels of care, incorporating all dimensions of wellness to help residents remain healthy and active.

CHERYL EARL

CHERYL EARL
Accounting Manager

Cheryl Earle helps oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, month-end, quarterly and year-end financials and reconciliations, and preparations for audited financial reports shared with all interested parties. She is responsible for completing and filing forms for federal, state and county regulatory agencies. Cheryl performs new resident contract settlements at move-in. She works closely with payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable personnel in the handling of daily and monthly transactions. Cheryl has been employed with Cypress Cove since 2005.
