Mary Franklin

As Vice President of Operations, Mary Franklin oversees the daily financial, regulatory, and systems functions for both Cypress Cove and Cypress at Home. Her leadership supports the delivery of high-quality services and seamless operations across all areas of the organization. 

Mary’s career began in the exclusive resort and country club industry before transitioning into senior living. She spent eight years at Shell Point Retirement Community as Resort Services Manager before joining Cypress Cove in 2014. Over the past decade, she has served in several leadership roles including Director of Resident Life, Assistant Executive Director, Executive Director, and now Vice President. 

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Studies with a minor in Business from Ohio University and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Central Florida. She is also ALF Core trained and brings strong customer service expertise and a collaborative leadership style to her role. 

Outside of work, Mary enjoys boating, fishing, hiking, and relaxing by the beach or pool with a good book. Her perfect day includes an early morning on the boat with her husband Tony, daughter Morgan, and their dog Zoe—heading to North Captiva for a beach day, trying their luck fishing if the tides are right, then returning home to unwind by the pool and order dinner in.
