Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve

For all birding enthusiasts, this sanctuary is the perfect spot for you! This brackish water wetland area is the second-largest preserved green space in Cape Coral, measuring 365 acres and boasting a walking trail, visitor center, Veterans Memorial Area, and seasonal kayak rentals. Here, kayakers can launch into the puzzle of waterways that snake through the mangroves and snap an incredible shot right from the water.

Rotary Park Environmental Center

In the mid-1980s, the Rotary Club of Cape Coral was looking for a worthwhile investment of funds they raised through various activities to benefit the community. Thanks to the combined effort of three local Rotary Clubs, Rotary Park opened in 2001! This 97-acre park features ponds, wetlands, salt flats, and uplands, giving visitors their choice of the backdrop when taking beautiful nature shots.

Sirenia Vista Park

This 8-acre environmental park is a great place to steal some glimpses of manatees, especially during months when the temperature cools down. No matter the time of year, Sirenia Vista Park is also a desirable location for fishing. Future phases for this park include the possibility of an elevated boardwalk and shoreline improvements but until then, it is still a great spot to cast a line and grab some pictures of maritime wildlife!

Four Freedoms Park

Nestled on 3.2 acres overlooking Bimini Basin, Four Freedoms Park boasts plenty of shaded, fenced-in areas for the whole family to enjoy playground equipment geared towards all ages! Once it’s time to relax and grab a bite to eat, there are several picnic areas on-site. This location is ideal for nabbing photos of the entire family sharing an unforgettable day at the park.

Jaycee Park

Found at the eastern end of Beach Parkway, Jaycee Park consists of 8 acres along the bank of the scenic Caloosahatchee River. This park features a walking trail, picnic tables, and even grills for your next barbecue. A unique feature enjoyed at Jaycee Park is individual parking spots facing the river. These make it quick and easy for guests to pull right in and watch the boats and wildlife pass by – just wait for that perfect shot before snapping a picture!
