FORT MYERS, Fla. (August 3, 2022) Cypress Cove residents and team members were recognized by Lee Health today as a Partners in Wellness community. Cypress Cove is the first life plan community to earn this designation.
Lee Health’s Partners in Wellness designation recognizes communities that actively work to improve the health of their residents by promoting wellness programming and activities. That includes providing robust wellness resources to promote healthy outcomes, like preventative screenings, wellness education, chronic disease programs, concierge physician referral, and more.
“Cypress Cove’s partnership with Lee Health has helped boost our wellness programming to the forefront of the community, with focused activities for every dimension of wellness at all levels, and in every department,” said Executive Director Mary Franklin. “Thanks in part to the Lee Health partnership and the ‘all in’ mindset of our great team members, we’re able to offer about 60 activities every month on campus to educate and empower residents to live their best life.”
Dr. Scott Nygaard, COO of Lee Health presented a plaque to Cypress Cove leadership during the Designation Celebration.
