FAQs
What are Entrance Fees?
Entrance fees are one-time fees for Independent Living residents based on the size and location of the residence you choose. Entrance fees and monthly service fees assure lifetime residency, full access to the community’s amenities, and priority access to healthcare services. Contracts return up to 100% of your entrance fee to you or your estate thereby preserving your assets and providing a legacy for your heirs. We offer various contract and residence options, all with a 100% satisfaction guarantee for the first year.

Why Choose a Not-For-Profit CCRC?
As a not-for-profit organization, Cypress Cove exists to serve our community, not to generate dividends for shareholders. We reinvest our earnings into services and enhancements that benefit our residents. To keep not-for-profit status, we must meet stringent government standards for financial stewardship.
What is Person-Centered Living?
Person-centered living is a lifestyle philosophy that honors individual preferences and choices. You may also hear it called person-centered care. Regardless of what you call it, person-centered living is integrated into every aspect of Cypress Cove. In Independent Living, each of our resident’s personal interests and pursuits are incorporated into programming through an assessment we call My Life, which ensures the programs and activities we offer are relevant and compelling.
Assisted Living residents participate in deciding about the rhythm of their day, the services provided to them, and the programs and activities that are important to them. As an important organizational value at Cypress Cove, person-centered living fosters a culture that supports autonomy, diversity, and individual choice among residents.
What is the Approval Process to Become a Resident?
At Cypress Cove, the approval process includes a wellness assessment and a financial review to ensure that you have the best plan in place to provide peace of mind and security for your future.
Through an independent medical review, the health and wellness assessment will determine which plan is most suitable for you. Our contract options are similar to an insurance plan, and we want to be sure your long-term care needs are met.
