Cypress Cove staff and residents are fortunate to have a tremendous resource in Rainne Brown, accounts receivable specialist in the accounting department for more than 20 years. She is a billing specialist with the capability of handling all accounting functions, stepping in as needed when department co-workers are out.

“We greatly appreciate Rainne’s knowledge,” said Jeff Dunkle, director of financial services. “She takes time to meet with residents and help them with their questions and concerns.”

Rainne says she enjoys getting to know residents while guiding them through long term care, Medicare, and resident contracts, and explaining how different coverage will affect them.

“Throughout the years there have been many changes, but Cypress Cove’s heart and soul remains the same,” Rainne said. “Ours is a community of residents and employees who care for each other as families do. It has been my pleasure to be able to get to know our residents and assist them.”

Rainne appreciates the Cypress family culture and values, especially how employees show respect for each other and try to be kind, even in challenging situations. In her experience, the organization strives for dedication of hard work, fairness, and having fun, all while serving the residents.

One of Rainne’s favorite work memories is the time Cypress Cove hosted a Mardi Gras parade. All departments decorated floats and the residents lined up outside to watch. “There were smiles all around,” she recalled.

Another memorable time was when she was able to take a shower in the locker room at work because her home had no running water after Hurricane Irma. Now that’s a work perk!
