Cypress Cove is a renowned luxury senior living community located in South Fort Myers, Florida. Celebrating 25 years this April 2024, it has a rich and meticulously crafted history.

The story of Cypress Cove began in 1991 when a group of visionary individuals recognized the need for a retirement community that provided exceptional care and amenities for seniors. These forward-thinking individuals came together and formed a nonprofit organization known as the Lee County Community Corporation (LCCC).

LCCC acquired a parcel of land in Fort Myers, Florida, with the intention of building a state-of-the-art retirement community. The location they chose was nestled amidst beautiful natural surroundings and was adjacent to the newly established HealthPark Medical Center. This proximity to medical facilities would prove to be a key factor in the development of Cypress Cove.

Construction of the community commenced in March of 1997, and on April 5, 1999, Cypress Cove officially opened its doors to its first residents. The community was designed with the utmost care and attention to detail, providing a range of housing options, including independent living apartments, assisted living apartments, and skilled nursing care. A neighborhood of villa homes would follow.

From its inception, Cypress Cove was committed to providing an exceptional living experience for its residents. Additionally, the close proximity to HealthPark Medical Center allowed for seamless access to quality healthcare services.

An ambitious 12-acre campus expansion, The Oaks, was developed to provide upscale villas and elevated residences as well as a new clubhouse with dining options, fitness center, and outdoor pool. The groundbreaking took place in 2022 and will be completed in 2024.
