Welcome New Resident Services Manager

Greg Madsen, M.Ed. joined the Cypress family in January. He is responsible for providing non-medical support services to Harbour and Villas residents for their psychosocial and functional needs with compassionate care. He will also assist residents and their family members through healthcare transitions. His main responsibilities are assessing and collaborating care needs, serving as a resource, maintaining important records and documents, and monitoring the needs of residents.

Greg has extensive experience in senior living, including having served in operations, marketing, admissions and community relations at several retirement communities, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing centers throughout Southwest Florida. He also has experience working in the home health industry.

Greg’s education includes a master’s degree in educational leadership from University of South Florida and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Florida Southern College. He is CORE certified through the State of Florida and CPR/First Aid certified as well.
